Who needs to show funds?

Not everyone has to provide financial documents, it depends on the country and the course you are going to study. Before you apply for your visa contact us and know if you are required to show it or visit Department of Home Affairs website and find out more information.

Which documents are required to show?

First of all, you need a SPONSOR, family or family friend (recommended) who can show the needed amount of money to sponsor you.

In case you cannot find only one sponsor to show the full amount, don’t panic, you are allowed to have more than one sponsor. We recommend maximum two (three in determinate cases).

Your sponsor (or sponsors) will need the following:

The financial support documents:

  • Bank statement
  • Passport or Id (relationship with you)
  • Statutory declaration
  • Genuine access to the funds
  • Proof of income

How much money do I need to show?

12 months of living expenses!

What does this include?

From 1 February 2018, 12 months living expenses:

  • student/guardian – AUD20,290
  • partner/spouse – AUD7,100
  • Child – AUD3,040.

School Fees

This means, one-year tuition fees. However, you can take off the amount you have paid already.

For example, your yearly tuition fee is $12,000, you have paid $4,000 to get CoE (Confirmation of Enrollment), the you only will add $8,000

Travel Expenses

If you apply from overseas, AUD2,000 (except if applying from East or Southern Africa, include AUD2,500; West Africa include AUD3,000).

Schooling cost

If your kids are included in your application, remember their tuition fee needs to be added as well J, one-year tuition fee, same as yours.
