When you study any higher education course (such as a Bachelor’s or master’s degree) in Australia, you can apply for a Post Study Work Visa (SC485) and get 2 years of work visa in Australia. But If you study for your master’s degree in Adelaide, you will get a 3 YEAR WORK VISA post-study.
During these 3 years, you are allowed to go and work anywhere in Australia and you don’t have to stay in Adelaide.
International graduates of South Australia have access to a more extensive list of occupations for state nomination. In addition, if you do not meet state nomination requirements for work experience, English or financial capacity, there may be waivers or exemptions available to you. Refer to International Graduate Occupation and Waiver Requirements to see if you can access more occupations and any exemptions or waivers.
Access to additional occupations is available if you are currently living and working in South Australia in your nominated or closely related occupation and have been for 6 months or more in a country region of South Australia or 12 months or more in Greater Adelaide. You must be working for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Chain migration is a state nomination pathway providing access to a broader list of occupations if you have an immediate family member permanently residing in South Australia.
If you have high points on the Department of Home Affairs points test, you can gain access to the Supplementary Skilled List (SSL) and occupations on the main list that are special conditions apply.

Hi, I have completed my bachelors degree from NSW but want to move to Adelaide. What are my PR pathways ?

I am International student recently left one university and take admission in Adelaide University but the give me credit of 2 subjects studied previously from First university now after credit transfer I got offer of 1.5 year ,so my concern is I am graduate. How many months do I have to work in my related/similar field to meet the SA PR criteria or if I work a kitchen as a cook or Chef in SA, how many months or year/hours do I have to work, for RPL as i don’t have cookery certificate.
