PR opportunity for TSS SC482 visa holders

Eligible TSS – short-term stream visa holders and those visa holders with an occupation on Short Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL) or on the Regional Occupation List (ROL) will be able to apply for PR SC186 through the TRTS (Temporary Residence Transition stream).

 

Eligibility Criteria for TSS SC482 Visa Holders to Apply for PR SC186

  • Hold a subclass 457, TSS subclass 482 or related Bridging visa A, B or C
  • The bridging visa must be the one you were granted after your subclass 457 or 482 visa expired.
  • Usually, have worked for your employer for at least 3 years full-time while holding a subclass 457 or 482 visa
  • Have been nominated by the same Australian employer for the same occupation before you apply PR SC186
  • Eligible TSS – short-term stream visa holders and those visa holders with an occupation on the Short Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL) or Regional Occupation List (ROL) will be able to apply through the TRT stream. The pathway will be accessible for two years from its commencement on 1 July 2022.

 

Additional Requirements for TSS SC482 Visa Holders to Apply for PR SC186

  • have been in Australia for at least one year between 1 February 2020 and 14 December 2021
  • Meet all other nomination and visa requirements for the TRT stream
